Discover what drives you. Understand what gets in your way. Change what comes next.
I created Lead by Design to help people understand something that can take years to put into words: why you naturally operate the way you do, how that design affects the way you work, lead, relate and make decisions, and what becomes possible when you learn to work with it intentionally.
My career has been built inside senior corporate environments, including financial services, working closely with executives, senior professionals, teams and stakeholders through real organisational complexity and change. Much of that work has centred on transformation: helping people and organisations adapt as systems, processes and technology shift beneath them, from CRM and data transformation to the digital and AI-driven change many organisations are navigating now. That experience taught me something I still see constantly in Lead by Design's work: how someone is naturally designed has a direct, practical effect on how they perform, how they're perceived, and how well they navigate change, whether or not anyone around them ever names it.
Alongside that corporate career, I've spent years developing leaders and teams directly: helping people communicate more effectively, build genuine influence, navigate change, and grow into responsibility they were already capable of holding. Watching the same kind of person struggle in one environment and quietly thrive in another, not because they'd changed, but because the environment finally matched how they were built, is a large part of why Lead by Design exists.
That same attention to how people are built extends well beyond the workplace. I've spent years in pastoral counselling, walking with married couples, individuals and families through real, ordinary life, including initiatives focused specifically on women's development and parenting. Marriages and families are often where a person's natural design shows up most clearly, and most painfully, when it isn't understood. That work shaped how Lead by Design approaches relationships: never as a diagnosis, always as a way to help two people finally understand what's actually happening between them.
Underneath all of it sits pastoral leadership, the longest-running thread of my working life. I began in 2003, while still at university, leading the student branch of Global Harvest, and have led within Global Harvest's main pastoral team since 2018. Pastoral leadership means sitting with people across every stage of life, in joy, grief, decisions, uncertainty and growth, for years, not sessions. It's where I learned, more than anywhere else, that real change starts with people actually understanding themselves.
Lead by Design brings together career and leadership coaching, personal development, relationship support and practical, experience-led pastoral support. The aim is to help you understand your own patterns, make sense of what's actually happening, and work out what to do next, whether that's in your career, your relationships, your leadership, or a season of change you're navigating right now.
